It’s Wednesday and the weather, at least here is amazing, I am so happy! I am completely ran off my feet (no change there haha) but I am working super hard to catch up on stuff while I am at home planning my next trips. I also, however, make the most of being home to go to the beach which is a must for my well-being. Yesterday I wore this outfit, consisting of an off-the shoulder top, a denim skirt and a pair of cool jelly shoes. I went for a pair of oversized earrings – they are not what I normally wear but I like to mix things up every now and again  *_* It keeps things fun! Lots of love! 

Ya estamos a miércoles y por lo menos aqui hace buenísimo, vaya, estoy feliz!. Aunque ando a mil (para variar…jjj), saco tiempo de donde puedo para poner todo al dia ahora que llevo una semana en casa y organizo mis próximos viajes, pero también, por supuesto, me escapo ratitos a la playa que para mi es imprescindible para estar bien. Ayer mismo me puse este look con top con hombros al aire, falda vaquera con botones laterales y cangrejeras “cool”. Me animé con maxi-pendientes, aunque no suelen ser lo mio a veces me gusta arriesgar un poco y salirme de lo que suelo llevar, asi no me aburro *_*. Mil besos!

Good morning! I realised that I hadn’t posted these photos that we took during our road trip on Route 66 and I feel bad, so here they are. I wore head-to-toe black with a pair of gladiator sandals (the famous one from Zara last year), a boho style dress and my favourite straw bag. I added a bit of light with a pair of earrings with big orange tassels. The photos were taken in a little town called Williams which is in between Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. We came across this American style warehouse and thought, what better place to take the photos. Do you agree? It was sunny, rainy and there was also a huge thunderstorm, it wasn’t easy haha. Buenos días! Me di cuenta de que no había posteado estas fotos que sacamos durante nuestro road trip por la Route 66 y me dió pena, así que aquí las tenéis. Llevaba un total black look muy copiable con sandalias gladiadoras negras (las famosas de Zara del año pasado), vestido de aire boho y mi cestito favorito. Para dar un toque de luz añadí pendientes grandes con flequitos naranjas. Estábamos en un pueblito que se llama Williams y que esta entre Las Vegas y el Grand Canyon y encontramos ésta nave típicamente americana que nos pareció perfecta para las fotos, verdad? Recuerdo que durante el shooting nos tocó solazo, lluvia y hasta una tormenta impresionante, no fue fácil! jajaj. Mil besos!

There’s nothing like a pair o jeans and a white top to “start” an outfit. Whenever I don’t know what to wear I always resort to these two pieces and then begin to add accessories. On this particular occasion, I added a military style jacket. The good thing about this (my uniform) is that you can get away with EVERYTHING, it’s great because it means that you can wear those sandals that never go with anything, or that OTT necklace that looks odd with most things. I will always keep these two pieces as my go-to items, am I the only one? I don’t think so. Lots of love – so happy that it’s Friday!

No hay nada como un par de vaqueros y una camiseta blanca para “empezar” cualquier look. Muchos días, cuando no sé qué ponerme, empiezo por esas dos prendas y luego voy añadiendo accesorios o detalles, como esta semana cuando me puse este outfit al que añadí chaqueta de aire militar. Lo bueno que tiene este mix (mi uniforme), es que TODO vale, es genial para, por ejemplo, ponernos esas sandalias imposibles que no combinan con nada, o ese collar muy llamativo que nos parece demasiado con casi todo, o cualquier accesorio difícil de encajar. Para mi siempre serán mis dos prendas por excelencia, soy la única? (no creo!). Mil besos y ya estamos a Viernes!!!

Hi! It’s almost monday and even though I had been planning to put together a few special blog posts over the weekend, I didn’t manage to do so in the end. I’ve been busy packing for Ibiza, Madrid and Paris … and working hard on my brand so it was just impossible. We did, however, manage to take some photographs of this shirt (you can buy it here) from À Bicyclette, a suede skirt and heeled sandals; all in sand and khaki. I love this style, I think it’s timeless. What can I say about the khaki shirt? I love the colour, the pockets, the shoulder straps and the cut which makes it perfect to wear with shorts, skirts, white culotte pants and denim dungarees … I can think of 1000 different ways to wear it.  Lots of love! 

Buenas! Ya estamos a casi-lunes y aunque este fin de semana tenía pensado hacer un par de posts especiales al final me fue imposible, he estado preparando mi maleta para Ibiza, para Madrid y para Paris, mis próximos destinos y entre eso y dejar todo listo con mi marca no he encontrado momento. Eso si, tuvimos tiempo para sacar estas fotos con un look de estilo safari con camisa de À Bicyclette (la tenéis aqui), falda de ante y sandalias de tacón, todo en tonos khaki y arena. Me gusta mucho este estilo, lo veo atemporal y perfecto año tras año. De la camisa khaki qué os voy a decir!, me vuelve loca este color, sus bolsillitos, las tiras de los hombros y su corte, que la hacen perfecta para llevar con shorts, con faldas como ésta, con pantalones culotte en denim blanco, con petos vaqueros…se me ocurren mil opciones…Muchísimos besos!

Even though I already had these frayed jeans, I must admit that when I saw the ones which I am featuring today, temptation got the best of me. I like this shape a lot more, they are somewhat flared and come down to the ankle. I am a huge fan of cropped trousers, as you know (and if they are not short, I tend to crop them myself or fold them up because I like my ankles to be on show). I wore them for the first time with this shirt which shows off my shoulders and looks great with short pieces and my Chanel shoes … which didn’t go down very well last year when I first wore them on the blog. Fashion is so funny haha. Lots of love from Ibiza *_*

Aunque ya tenía éstos vaqueros desflecados, reconozco que cuando vi estos que os enseño hoy no me pude resistir. Me gusta mucho más esta forma, tienen como un ligero aire acampanado y además son tobilleros, y yo soy muy fan de los pantalones cortitos (de hecho si no lo son o me los corto o los me los remango, porque el tobillo me gusta siempre a la vista). Los estrené con esta camisola con los hombros al aire oversize que me parece una chulada para llevar con algo corto también, y con mis zapatitos bicolor de Chanel que recuerdo que la primera vez que os los enseñé el año pasado no os gustaron mucho…jjj, lo que es la moda! I am writing from my bungalow’s terrace in Ibiza and I am not going to lie, working from here is not bad at all *_* The weather is amazing, the hotel is fab and the pool is incredible. We’re getting to know a lot of people – all in all it’s been a great trip so far. I will soon show you the first photos from the trip but for now here are the last ones (I promise!) from California, taken in LA.I wore a Free People dress – I’ve been a fan for years and I love their boho pieces for summer. Os escribo desde la terraza de mi bungalow en Ibiza y ,para qué negarlo, no se está nada mal trabajando desde aqui *_* Nos ha tocado un tiempo impresionante, el hotel es una maravilla, la piscina increíble y estamos conociendo a un montón de gente, un viaje genial, la verdad. En breve os enseñaré las primeras fotos de esta escapada pero hoy os traigo las últimas (lo prometo) de California, esta vez, como podéis ver, las sacamos en L. A. Llevaba vestido de Free People (lo tenéis aqui), una marca de la que me declaro totalmente fan desde hace años y que me flipa por sus prendas boho, sobre todo para el verano. Good morning from Ibiza! We took these photos featuring the flared capri trousers just before we left the mainland. I bought them at the begining of the season but for some reason I hadn’t worn them yet. I opted for a lose blouse and wedges because they’re a great way of making you look taller whilst still being comfortable. I like keeping up to date with beauty trends so I thought I’d show you what I’ve been trying lately; L’Oréal Paris Cushion foundation. Its an innovative formula and texture which you can carry with you at all times (ready in a tap #enuntaptap). I don’t really like full coverage foundations but this one is lovely, it has a nice texture and it’s quite refreshing. It’s great for the warm weather because it feels super light. Buenos días desde Ibiza! Justo antes de venir sacamos estas fotos con estos vaqueros capri ligeramente acampanados que me había comprado a principio de temporada pero que no sé por qué razón todavía no había estrenado. Me los puse con blusón con mucho volumen y sandalias con cuña (flatforms), que son un invento genial para ganar algún cm. e ir super cómoda al mismo tiempo. Como me encanta estar al día de todas las novedades “beauty”, hoy os enseño lo último que he probado de L’Oréal Paris en maquillajes, “Cushion“, que es un maquillaje innovador con textura de esponja perfecto para llevar contigo a todas partes (lista en un #enuntaptap). A mi, que no me convencen los maquillajes que cubren mucho, me ha gustado su textura y la facilidad para echármelo porque la sensación en la piel es como fresca, genial para el buen tiempo, y con una textura muy ligera. One of my favourite things to do when I am in Ibiza is to go for a walk around Dalt Vila when the sun is setting. I love the boho open-air shops and I have to admit that I always tend to buy something; a bag, bracelets or basket bags (I am currently obsessed with the latter). There’s nothing like getting lost around these streets where we took the photos during an afternoon of shopping. As you can see, I couldn’t say no to the new Magnum Mini. I love chocolate and I love the new ice cream format; it’s the perfect sweet snack to eat on the go and there’s no harm in endulging every now and again. This new ice cream has quickly become my go-to treat hehe. So, here’s my mustard look and my delicious ice cream, enjoy! Big kiss x

Uno de mis grandes placeres cuando estoy en Ibiza es dar un paseo por Dalt Vila al caer la tarde. Me gustan sus tienditas de aire ad lib donde siempre suelo picar comprándome bolsos de aire bohemio, pulseras o capazos que últimamente son mi perdición. No hay nada como perderse por sus callejuelas como éstas de la zona alta donde sacamos las fotos en una tarde de shopping. Como véis no me pude resistir al nuevo Magnum Mini, yo soy muy fan del chocolate y me encanta su nuevo formato que lo convierte en el perfecto snak dulce para comer fuera de casa, y como un capricho nunca viene mal, se ha convertido en el mio para minimomentos de placer (jjj). I am back from Ibiza and Madrid and off to Paris today. I am really looking forward to going because I love it so much, and this time of year is amazing,  you can really make the most of its lovely terraces and go for long bike rides. I literally just arrived, without my suitcases (yes, that’s the third time they’ve been lost this year), and ready to enjoy this amazing city (with the same outfit as yesterday haha). Muy buenos días desde Paris. Morning all! Last week, after our short trip to Ibiza, we set off for Madrid because we didn’t want to miss the amazing party organised by Uno de 50 to celebrare its 20th anniversary #LivingHistory. I can still remember the first piece I got from the brand (a loooooong time ago). It was a silver bracelet characterised by the brand’s handcraft touch. I also remember being super happy about my purchase because I had heard of the brand and thought the concept, their designs and style were really cool. This is exactly everything that came to mind when I was at the Saldaña Palace, the party’s venue, celebrating the brand’s milestone birthday and having a great time. It was an awesome party, the venue was tastefully decorated and the models showed off the brand’s top 20 pieces which have been somewhat modified to celebrate its anniversary (the whole thing was dark and the pieces stood out under a bright spotlight). I went for a white and black outfit to let the jewellery take centre stage. Take a look at the photos from the event so that you can get an idea of what this magical night was all about. Muy buenos días! La semana pasada, tras nuestra escapada en Ibiza, nos fuimos a Madrid porque no queríamos perdernos la super fiesta que organizaba Uno de 50 con motivo de su 20 aniversario, #LivingHistory. Aun recuerdo perfectamente la primera pieza que tuve de esta marca (hace muchííísimos años), una pulserita plateada con ese toque artesanal que tanto les caracteriza, y me acuerdo perfectamente de que me hizo muchísima ilusion comprármela porque había oído hablar de la marca y me chiflaba su concepto, su estilo único y sus diseños atrevidos. Y de todo eso me acordaba la semana pasada cuando estaba en el Palacio de Saldaña, celebrando su cumple en un ambiente genial. Fue una fiesta en la que no faltó detalle, el palacio estaba decorado impresionante, con aires bucólicos y de cuento, como derruído y lleno de vegetación que parecía haber crecido a su antojo. Las modelos lucían sus veinte piezas mas emblemáticas que han reeditado con motivo del aniversario (todo a oscuras y con focos de luz sobre las piezas, impresionante!). Aqui os enseño el look que elegí para la ocasión, en blanco y negro para darle importancia a las joyas, y tambien os traigo las fotos que sacamos durante el evento para que os hagáis una idea de como fue esta noche mágica. Viajar siempre ha sido mi pasión. Para mi no hay nada mejor que poder descubrir sitios nuevos, que disfrutar de nuevas culturas y no hay nada que me haga sentir mejor, que me llene más y que me de más sensación de libertad que una escapada. Gracias a mi trabajo tengo la oportunidad de viajar constantemente y nunca me canso, de hecho cuando llevo unos días en casa (algo que me ocurre muy poco…), ya tengo ganas de volver a hacer la maleta. Es como que me falta ese gusanillo que se me pone en la barriga cada vez que tengo un nuevo plan. Y no puedo parar! Por eso yo me defino como la “viajera sin fin“, ya no sé si viajo o si simplemente es mi forma de vivir. También soy un poquito viajera shophaholic (he puesto link a un video genial), y aventurera,  porque lo de llevar todo organizado no va conmigo…cual sois vosotros?

La semana pasada tuve la suerte de pasar unos días de ensueño en Ibiza con American Tourister en los que no faltó de nada: hotelazo, buena compañía (gracias a todo el equipazo que de verdad nos hizo disfrutar de cada minuto), noches en Pacha y Ushuaia, barquito a Formentera, cenas muy muy ricas…y estáis de suerte porque sortean un viaje igualito. After a crazy weekend at Sonar in Barcelona we are now back in Paris to make the most of this amazing city before we head off to the beach. I feel a little sad because the weather hasn’t been great and I haven’t really packed for this kind of weather, hence why I have to keep layering clothes to avoid me freezing to death *_* On this day, however, the weather was quite nice (until it poured down with rain), and so I made the most of it and decided to wear my À Bicyclette t-shirt with my favourite vintage jeans. I wanted a Parisian outfit and so I added a straw bag and espadrilles. I hope you love the photos. Lots of love!! 

Tras un fin de semana de locos en el Sónar en Barcelona hemos vuelto a Paris para seguir aprovechando de esta super ciudad antes de marcharnos a destinos playeros. Me da un poco de rabia porque el tiempo no está acompañando y el tiempo no tiene mucho que ver con lo que me he traído en la maleta, asi que hago apaños y me pongo capas para no morir de frio *_* Este día, en cambio, hacía bastante bueno (hasta que se puso a diluviar…), y aproveché para ponerme camiseta de À Bicyclette -perfecta par ala ocasión- con mis jeans vintage favoritos. Welcome, summer! You don’t know how much I wanted you to come. I hope that this year you will bring me long days, afternoons on the beach, endless bike rides, lose dresses, pistacho ice creams and plenty of street markets. Please don’t leave too soon. Why don’t you stay until November? In the meantime, here’s an outfit I wore in Paris a few days ago. It consists of soft colours such as baby pink and blue, which are great in the heat. One of my favourite things to do is to visit the Jardin des Tuileries when I am in Paris. I don’t what it is about that park but I love it when it’s sunny. I always tuck into my fave ice cream and enjoy the green chairs while I people watch. I can stay there for hours, reading or chatting and I never get bored. Last week after one of the best breakfasts that I’ve ever had in the city (keep your eyes peeled for a post with fave spots in Paris), we headed to Les Tuileries to take these photos. I wore head-to-toe black with a midi skirt, my new IRO perfecto jacket and my Chloè ankle boots which will always love. Lots of love, see you soon!

Uno de mis planes favoritos en Paris es mi visita obligada al Jardin des Tuileries. No sé que tiene ese parque pero me gusta especialmente para los dias soleados, siempre me compro mi helado favorito y lo disfruto sentada en las “sillas verdes” mientras que veo a la gente pasar. Me puedo quedar horas leyendo o charlando y nunca me aburro. La semana pasada tras un desayuno riquísino en un sitio genial que da los mejores açai de la ciudad (y que no faltará en el post que estoy preparando de mis direcciones favoritas de Paris), nos fuimos a les Tuileries a sacar estas fotos. Llevaba un total black look con falda midi, mi nueva perfecto de IRO y botines de Chloè que siempre serán de mis favoritos. Mil besos, nos vemos!

Ibiza’s streets have something special. They have a special charm and one that makes the island truly irresistible. The good thing about Ibiza is that there really is something for everyone, there’s charming little villages, gorgeous beaches, lovely hidden coves, plenty of nightlife, restaurants and shopping in Dalt Vila. Our perfect plan is to visit the island on a motorbike (we tend to get the boat over from Denia) and spend the morning getting lost around the island and getting to know hidden gems. In the afternoons, it goes without saying that we spend most of our time on the beach. Nights are all about shopping and dining al fresco.I wanted to show you this outfit that I wore last week to go for a walk around the port. I chose a look which I love, simple and perfect for being comfortable doing a lot of walking but also added a few statement pieces. There really is nothing like a pair of denim shorts paired with an off ­the ­shoulder top, a special pair of sandals and a cute little bag; such as my new micro bag from Chloe, which I get the feeling is going to be worn loads during this summer. I am so happy to have finally got my hands on it (I found it on Farfetch,- the website that tends to solve all my problems due to the variety of items it sells), because it was really love at first site. I loved it as soon as I saw it but struggled to find it in the colour that I wanted it in … but it’s finally mine! I have always said that being able to wear simple pieces such as jeans, white t­-shirts and masculine shirts or LBDs is the way forward as you can then have fun with accessories to make the look stand out from the crowd. Las calles de Ibiza tienen algo realmente especial, un encanto único que hacen que la isla sea simplemente irresistible. Lo bueno de Ibiza es que tiene un poco de todo, hay pueblitos con encanto, playas y calas maravillosas, ambientazo por la noche y callejuelas con restaurantes y tiendas en Dalt Vila. Nuestro plan perfecto es ir a la isla con moto (solemos coger el barco desde Denia) y pasamos las mañanas perdiéndonos para descubrir lugares especiales. Por las tardes toca playa, ­of course­, y por la
noche tienditas y cena en una terraza con encanto.
Aqui os enseño uno de los looks que me puse hace unos dias antes de escaparnos a Paris, para dar un paseo por el puerto. Elegí un look de los que me encantan, sencillo y perfecto para estar super cómoda para patear, con una base cool pero con “statement pieces”. Nada como unos shorts vaqueros para acompañar un top sin hombros y unas sandalias o bolso especiales, como mi nuevo micro bolsito de Chloè que me da la sensación de que me va a acompañar todo el verano. Estoy feliz de haberlo encontrado (en Farfetch, la web que suele sacarme de apuros ya que tienen muchísima variedad y las piezas especiales que busco), porque con el fue un flechazo total, me chifló la primera vez que lo vi y luego no era capaz de encontrarlo en este color, pero si…ya es mio!! jjjj Siempre he dicho que no hay nada como vestirse con prendas sencillas como jeans, camisetas blancas, camisas masculinas, LBD….y después jugar con los complementos que son los que hacen de ese look algo especial y con carácter. Good morning! It seems that I am slightly obsessed with white and blue this summer. They are two very relaxing colours, great for when we are tanned and so easy to wear with other colours. I love to wear them with brown accessories, such as the ones that I am wearing in today’s photos, but they also look fantastic with black sandals or even pink accessories which I actually wore the other day, take a look here. I am currently loving culotte trousers – I’ve featured them a few times already – and jeans with frayed ankles, which is actually this year’s top trend (and I am wearing two of the hottest today). Colourful mascara is another one of this year’s interesting trends. YSL’s Vinyl Couture is available in nine different colours with a vinyl effect which gives you both length and volume. Each colour corresponds to an attitude; I am wearing the bright pink which is “I’m the madness”. Buenos días! Parece que este verano me ha dado por el blanco y por el azul claro. Son dos tonos como muy relajantes, geniales para llevar cuando estamos morenitas y además fáciles de combinar, me gustan con accesorios en marrón, como llevo hoy, pero también quedan genial con sandalias negras o hasta con complementos rosas como llevaba el otro dia aqui. En cuanto a pantalones me decanto por los culotte, que ya os he enseñado bastantes veces, y por los jeans con bajos desflecados, la tendencia numero uno de este año (hoy dos en uno!). Otra tendencia que viene pegando fuerte son las máscaras de pestañas en diferentes colores, como las Vinyl Couture de YSL que hay en 9 tonos, de “efecto vinilo” que aportan longitud y volumen. Nos dan la opción de arriesgar un poquito en el maquillaje con un mini toque original que nos ayuda a conseguir una mirada especial, y cada color se corresponde con una actitud, yo llevo el tono rosa fuerte que es ni mas ni menos que “I’m the madness”, y podéis elegir qué tipo de chica sois y compartirlo en rrss con #whoareyoutoday, os animáis? A very good and sunny morning to you! Here are some photos from Paris, but this time we are off on a walk around the Seine wearing an outfit that I rocked to a Kenzo event organised to celebrate World Music Day in Île Saint Louis. I paired jeans with a white t-shirt and made the look stand out with a few accessories and add-ons: a bomber jacket (it’s my fave, the back is embroidered), Chloè’s Faye bag in pink and a pair of wide-heeled sandals, so comfortable! 

Those of you who follow me on SNAPCHAT (@BARTABACMODE) have asked me a lot about my tooth whitening experience, where I get it done and by whom. The team at Clínica Dental Colón 21 in Vigo are responsible (thanks Yasmin!). It’s a clinical whitening treatment carried out with the latest generation laser “lasersmile”. I am loving the result, it has completely exceeded my expectations. Lots of love and thanks for all your comments! 

Muy buenos y soleados dias! Seguimos con fotos de Paris, esta vez nos vamos de paseo por el Sena con este look que es el que llevé a un evento que Kenzo organizó con motivo del Dia de la Música en Île Saint Louis. Me puse vaqueros con camiseta blanca y jugué con los complementos: bomber (mi favorita, con espalda bordada), bolso Faye de Chloè rosa y sandalias de tacón ancho, comodísimas!.

Y para los que me seguís en SNAPCHAT (soy @BARTABACMODE), me habéis preguntado mucho sobre mi blanqueamiento dental, dónde me lo he hecho y como se llama, pues bien, me lo ha hecho el equipazo de la Clínica Dental Colon 21 en Vigo (gracias a mi Dra., Yasmin Genta por cuidarme tanto y por dejarme esta sonrisa!), y es un blanqueamiento clínico con láser dental de última generación “lasersmile” bioláser, y la verdad es que estoy mas que encantada porque no tenía mucha fe y me he quedado flipada con el resultado, jjj!.
