Even though I tend to dress a little cool sometimes, I often wake up with the urge to opt for a more “lady” look and this was one of those days. It was really hot in NY, in fact I don’t think I’ve ever been hotter in the city and that’s bearing in mind that when I lived in Madrid 40 degrees was the norm in summer … but it was so humid in the Big Apple that it was unbearable. I wore a skirt in a beautiful shade of green, an off-the shoulder top and pumps. Following a few shows we went for a walk to the Flatiron (one of my favourite skyscrapers). I hope you like the photos, sending you all a huge kiss from London! 

Aunque generalmente me visto con cierto punto rock (por llamarlo de alguna manera), a veces me levanto con ganas de un look con aire lady, y este día fue uno de ellos. En NY hacía un calor alucinante, de hecho es el dia con mas calor que yo recuerdo haber pasado en una ciudad, y eso que cuando vivía en Madrid los 40 grados en pleno agosto eran algo bastante normal…pero en la Gran Manzana la humedad era altísima por lo que la sensación de calor era inaguantable, la verdad. Llevaba esta falda en un tono verde precioso, top off the shoulder y bailarinas, y  tras un par de desfiles (os conté todito por mi Stories y pudiísteis verlos ahi), nos fuimos dando una vuelta hasta el Flatiron, uno de mis rascacielos favoritos. Even though I am not a huge fan of prints, as I tend to wear neutral pieces on a daily basis, I do like to switch things up every now and again :) I like the idea of wearing something different, with a pop of colour or a strong print and I am currently a huge fan of co-ords and tend to wear them quite a lot during Fashion Weeks. I rocked this “pijama” two-piece suit during the first few days in New York because I loved the tropical print and thought it would look great with a pair of printed shoes, these ones are by Pura Lopez. The good thing about co-ords is that you can wear them in very different ways, I like to wear the top with a pair of jeans or go for a white shirt with the shorts and a pair of slippers. Aunque en general no soy muy de estampados porque en mi dia a dia suelo llevar prendas lisas en tonos bastante neutros, reconozco que de vez en cuando me vienen bien :) Me gusta la idea de ponerme algo diferente, con color y con estampados fuertes de vez en cuando, y soy especialmente fan de los two pieces con el mismo print, algo que suelo usar bastante durante las fashion weeks. En uno de mis primeros dias en New York me puse este “pijama” de pantalón corto y estampado tropical que me chifla mezclado con zapatos con otro print, como estos de Pura López. Lo bueno de este tipo de conjuntos de dos piezas es que puedes usarlos de mil maneras, a mi me gusta, por ejemplo, ponerme unos vaqueros noventeros con esta parte de arriba, o una camisa blanca con los shorts y zapatillas. I like when we take pictures in typical places as an american court. This one was near our hotel, between Tribeca and Soho and we took these pictures one of the first days of Fashion Week when we had a break. I was wearing this denim skirt with white top, which has a lovely cut with open back. Classic shoes and green bag to complete the look, so, a very simple outfit in which I played with accessories. I hope you enjoy the pictures and the look. Big kisses from Saint Tropez! Ahhh, the “no pets” is because of the sign …because if up to me, we should let them enter everywhere!

Me gusta mucho cuando sacamos fotos de estilo en sitios típicos americanos como una cancha. Esta la teníamos cerca de nuestro hotel, entre Tribeca y Soho y aprovechamos para hacer estas fotos uno de los primeros dias de la Fashion Week cuando tuvimos un ratito. Me había puesto esta falda denim con top blanco, que, por cierto, tiene un corte genial con espalda abierta. This is the case of bombers, that came to stay and I think they’re a great area to go stylish, warm and are really easy to use because they fit with thousand (day & night) looks. There’s nothing better than a printed top and a midi skirt for Fashion Week. I think it’s a really easy look and one that I always tend to go back to, it’s such a great way to opt for casual wear while still rocking something special. On this particular day, I wanted to wear a skirt, shoes and matching bag with a LOLITA t-shirt from À Bicyclette‘s latest collection (you can find it here). We were very lucky to come across this mural after the Noon by Noor show (which I loved because it was all about girly pieces in washed out tones, you can find photos at the end of the post), which matched by outfit. Talk about going all out with burgundy! I hope you like the look and photos, lots of love. I am on my way to PARIS!!

A mi me resulta un look muy recurrente, con ese toque entre casual y especial que va genial para las semanas de la moda. Hay prendas que nunca pasan de moda y que tengo en mi vestidor desde hace años y años y creo que se van a quedar ahi para siempre, como las cazadoras perfecto (qué sería de nosotros sin ellas?). Hoy la llevo versionada en chaleco, una opción genial para usar por encima de tops, camisas o vestidos como el que me puse este dia en NY para los desfiles. Me gusta porque si me veo sosa lo añado y da ese puntito rock que tanto me va. Y, por supuesto, hoy no puedo olvidar hablaros de mis zapatos, estos Christian Louboutin que son simplemente alucinantes. Tienen un diseño espectacular que hacen que lo que te pongas resulte totalmente femenino, y me sentía como una mujer con super poderes salida de un cómic…jjj. Un beso muy grande desde Paris donde acabo de aterrizar ayer mismo para la PFW.

Our breakfasts in NY were undoubtedly the best part of this year’s Fashion Week. We were lucky enough to stay in a hotel by the Hudson, where we took plenty of photos, and decided on what takeaway breakfast we would tuck into while sitting on a bench enjoying the view every day (the weather was gorgeous and the streets were empty – thanks jet lag for always waking us up so early). On this day we photographed the Faithfull dress, a pair of red sandals and a beige dress. I don’t think I will ever forget these mornings and these lovely views. Lots of love from PARIS!! 

Sin duda lo mejor de esta Fashion Week en NY han sido nuestros desayunos. Tuvimos la suerte de tener el hotel justo al lado del Hudson, donde sacamos estas fotos, y decidimos comprar cada dia un desayuno “para llevar” y disfrutarlo sentados en los bancos con estas vistas (hacia buenísimo, nunca había nadie a esas horas -gracias, jet lag por despertarnos a las 6-…un sueño!). Este dia aprovechamos para sacar estas fotos con el vestidito de Faithfull, sandalias rojas para dar ese toque especial y bolsito beige. Denim, our best friend, change every season and we can find crazy designs and more original cuts, something very welcome considering that it is our favorite uniform, right? We packed up our stuff and travelled to London from New York. Even though I still have quite a few photos left from #NYFW I wanted to mix things up slightly and show you what I wore to Julien MacDonald’s show, during our first day in London #LFW. It was amazing and full of super sexy, daring and feminine outfits – which totally contrasted with the location. Check out the photos below taken by P. Soury during the show! I opted for an outfit that I absolutely love: a slip dress over a striped top, an embroidered pink bomber, a pair of maxi earrings, a green bag, sunnies and comfortable slip-ons. De New York hacemos las maletas y nos vamos a Londres. Aunque todavía me quedan algunas fotos de la #NYFW me apetecía cambiar y enseñaros este look que llevé para nuestro primer dia en la #LFW, para el desfile de Julien MacDonald que, por cierto, fue todo un espectáculo con looks hiper sexies, femeninos y atrevidos que contrastaban con la localización. If someone had asked me what garment I wish it will be “the trend” this fall I would have said, without hesitation, the hoodie (and, of course, I can not be happier because it has been so!). I am fan of them after years, my brand (À Bicyclette) is full of models and I love them because it is a casual garment but with many possibilities. This year we will see them in a thousand versions and during in these fashion weeks I saw super cool looks. I wore it for the TOPSHOP UNIQUE show with pleated golden skirt and burgundy shoes, a mix of colors that works great. It’s a pity because Pascal could not attend this runaway, so I have no pictures to show you, but I will say that I, as always, whistled London glam touch of the brand. Kisses!!

Si me llegan a preguntar qué prenda me gustaría que fuera tendencia este otoño habría dicho, sin dudarlo, la sudadera (y, claro, no puedo estar mas feliz porque asi ha sido!). Soy fiel a ellas desde hace años, mi marca (À Bicyclette), está repleta de mil modelos y soy muy fan desde siempre porque es una prenda casual pero con muchos registros. Este año la vamos a ver en mil versiones y en estas fashion weeks me la he encontrado en looks super chulos, vaya, que me parece una prenda muy inspiradora, no os parece? Me la puse para el desfile de TOPSHOP UNIQUE con falda dorada plisada y un toque burdeos en los zapatos, una mezcla de colores que funciona genial. Me da rabia porque a ese desfile Pascal no pudo asistir, por lo que no tengo las fotillos para enseñaros, pero os diré que, como siempre, me chifló ese toque glam londinense de la marca. Mil besos!!

The truth is that when I bought this skirt I wasn’t entirely sure that it was going to be for me. I did love it (hence why I actually decided to keep it), but at the same time I thought it was a little OTT. This was a few months ago and I finally decided to “rescue” it for #NYFW and I am now obsessed! It’s funny how sometimes it just takes time to find the perfect combination, something which I also went through with culottes. It’s all about midi skirts at the moment and I am over the moon with my voluminous frayed skirt *_* I wore it with a pair of ballet pumps, a lace top and my green bag for Chiara Boni’s show. Lots of love!!

La verdad es que cuando me compré esta falda y me llegó a casa tenía bastantes dudas. Me encantaba (por eso no la devolví), pero al mismo tiempo no lo tuve claro porque me pareció un poco excesiva. Han pasado unos tres meses y la he “rescatado” para la #NYFW, y , la verdad, ahora me chifla! Es curioso como a veces necesitamos un tiempo para encontrar el conjunto perfecto para una prenda o para sentirnos cómodas, algo que también me pasó, por ejemplo, con los pantalones culotte -tengo muchos más ejemplos-. Ahora es tiempo de faldas midi y estoy feliz con mi falda con extra de volumen y desflecada. Es rara pero me encanta *_* Me la puse en plan lady con bailarinas negras, top lencero y mi bolsito verde para el desfile de Chiara Boni. Mil besos!!

It seems that I am all about 80s inspired midi skirts in either patent or leather – particularly in red, black (always!), or metallics such as silver or gold. I fell in love with this skirt immediately during one of my free moments that I managed to enjoy in between trips, decided to walk into Zara and there it was. The only problem about these type of purchases is that I never expect to make them and I then struggle to close my suitcases … but I can tell you about this at another time! Right now I don’t even want to know how I am going to be able to pack two beautiful jumpers that I bought in H&M just yesterday. I wore the skirt during #LFW with an oversized white shirt and a pair of new ballet pumps. I hope you like the outfit, lots of love!!

Parece que la cosa va de faldas mini con aires ochenteros en charol o en piel en tonos como el rojo, el negro (siempre!), o los metalizados como el oro o la plata. Con esta falda tuve un flechazo, en uno de esos momentos libres que he tenido entre viaje y viaje en el aeropuerto me escapé a Zara y alli estaba esperándome. El único problema de esas compras es que nunca cuento con ellas y luego no consigo cerrar las maletas…pero de eso ya hablaremos otro día! (ahora no quiero ni pensar donde voy a meter dos jerseis enormes -y preciosos- que me compré ayer mismo en H&M). Estrené la faldita durante la #LFW con camisa blanca oversize y las bailarinas que me acababa de comprar. Espero que os guste el look y mil besos!!

We’re swapping London for Paris today, taking you straight into #PWF which is obviously my favourite because its far more relaxed and it’s just so nice to not have to stay in a hotel, although I love them, they are also tiring (it makes me feel like I am living out of a suitcase). On this particular day I rocked one of my favourite looks, which I don’t usually go for, consisting of lose trousers and a shirt with really long sleeves. I wore it to the John Galliano SS17 show – undoubtedly my favourite of the whole week. I was expecting something completely different but I totally fell for the corset, the safari themed colours, the amazing shoes and the super feminine dresses. You can see the photos taken by P. Soury at the end of the post. Lots of love!!

Y de Londres nos vamos a Paris, a la #PFW que siempre es mi favorita porque es donde nos lo tomamos con más calma y donde disfruto más por no estar en hotel, que aunque me encantan, reconozco que llega un momento que me cansan (tengo la sensación de vivir en una maleta). Este día me puse un look que me chifla y que no suelo llevar, con pantalones anchos y camisa con mangas extralargas para el desfile de John Galliano SS17 que ha sido, con diferencia, uno de mis favoritos de Paris. Me esperaba otra cosa pero me chifló el uso de corsetería, los tonos safari, los zapatos maravillosos, las prendas fluídas, románticas pero rompedoras y los vestidos híper femeninos. Al final del post veréis todas las fotos que sacó P. Soury durante el show y os haréis una buena idea. Mil besos!!

JOHN GALLIANO SS17 #PFW

I want to give you a break from all the fashion weeks and tell you about our trip to Saint Tropez, where headed to after NY and before London for a job. We were there to collaborate on a project but we made the most of the trip and decided to explore the Côte d’Azur, a part of France which I didn’t really know and was dying to see – especially in low season (we also went to Cannes, Port Grimaud and Nice). I imagine that it’s super busy in summer and possibly less charming but September is perfect because it’s still hot and far quieter (we didn’t encounter any of the notorious traffic jams!). We took a boat trip to St Tropez from Port Grimaud (a beautiful place by the way) and I have to say that the view of the harbour is to die for. I loved seeing the city and exploring its many coffee shops and terraces but what I loved most of all was day dreaming about its golden age: the 60s, Brigitte Bardot and all the actors who wouldn’t miss the chance to visit the area. Totally recommend the trip! In terms of my outfit, I opted for a pair of ballet pumps, a leopard print skirt and a t-shirt from the new À Bicyclette collection (here). Lots of love!

Hacemos un mini descanso de las fashion weeks y nos vamos a Saint Tropez, donde estuvimos justo después de NY y antes de Londres para un trabajo. Aunque ibamos para una colaboración aprovechamos en los momentos libres para descubrir la Côte d’Azur, una zona de Francia que no conocía y que tenía muchísimas ganas de descubrir, sobre todo fuera de temporada (fuimos a Cannes, Port Grimaud y Niza también). Imagino que en verano está muy masificado y pierde parte de su encanto, pero Septiembre es una época genial porque todavía hace calor y ya no hay esas caravanas interminables que nos contaron. Una de las veces llegamos a St. Tropez  en barco desde Port Grimaud (otro sitio precioso), y la vista del puerto es una chulada. Además de disfrutar de la ciudad y de sus terracitas, me encantó pensar en como sería en su época dorada: los años 60 con Brigitte Bardot como fan número uno y con todos los actores que no se perdían una cita. Muy recomendable! Y hablando del look, llevaba bailarinas, falda de leopardo y camiseta de la nueva colección de À Bicyclette (la tenéis AQUI). Muchos besos!!

Me ha encantado hacer este resumen porque yo misma me he emocionado al ir encontrando prendas que me apetecen muchísimo para esta temporada. Aunque siempre os cuento que soy una enamorada del verano y que odio (si, no hay otra palabra…jjj) bastante el frío, reconozco que este otoño lo cojo con muchas ganas porque me vuelven loca las tendencias que viene pegando fuerte y que he resumido aqui con un poquito de cada: sudaderas, falditas mini de piel con aires rockeros, bailarinas tuneadas, camisas con cortes imposibles, denim y mas denim “reworked”, botines rojos, gafas retro o vestidos midi. Ojalá os sirva de inspiración para renovar el vestidor de cara a los dias mas frescos. Mil besos!!

Morning! One of the things that I like the most about this season are the colours, such as the ones that I’m wearing in today’s look. I also love throwing on skirts or dresses without tights. Autumn is a great season to experiment and combine different pieces with those we’ve already bought for winter (and can’t wait to wear!). I rocked this outfit for a morning walk around Paris and wore my “Othea Rubi” by Clarks ankle boots for the first time – they are super comfy and at the same time, they make any outfit that extra special. I’ve already worn them with skinny jeans and an oversized jacket as well as with a dress and trench coat. They basically look amazing with everything. They’re a basic piece that no one should go without, they get you out of so much trouble when you’re not sure about what to wear. Lots of love from Paris!!

Una de las cosas que mas me gustan de esta estación son los colores típicos otoñales, como los del look de hoy, y el poder ponerme outfits de entretiempo, como falditas o vestidos sin medias. Creo que es una temporada muy chula que nos da la opción de mezclar prendas del verano con las nuevas adquisiones que ya hayamos hecho para el invierno (y que no podemos esperar a estrenar!). En este look, que me puse para un paseo mañanero por Paris, estrenaba los botines de Clarks (los “Othea Rubi”), que son lo mas cómodo del mundo y que al mismo tiempo hacen que cualquier look sea especial. Ya me los he puesto con pitillos y camisa oversize, y con vestido cruzado con trench y quedan genial con todo. Un básico que no puede faltar en nuestro armario y que nos saca de muchos apuros cuando no sabemos qué ponernos. Mil besos desde Paris!!

Walking around Saint Tropez is a delightful experience. There’s some adorable little streets, charming buildings and amazing shops for window shopping (such as the Dior boutique which boasts amazing gardens or the Fendi one which is so cute that I featured it in my IG). On this day we actually walked around lots because we wanted to see everything and after tucking into some moules-frites in the harbour we took these photos outside this lovely shop. I wore a pyjama shirt from Topshop, jeans and ballet pumps. Lots of love, see you soon!

Pasear por las calles de Saint Torpez es un gusto, hay callejuelas lindísimas con plazas, con edificios encantadores y con tiendas que son una gozada aunque solo sea para echar un ojo (como una maravilla de tienda Dior con jardines alucinantes o una tiendita de Fendi que por cierto saqué en mi IG porque es una cocada). Este dia callejeamos un montón porque no nos queríamos perder nada y tras comer unas moules-frites en el puerto, sacamos estas fotos delante de esta tiendita tan auténtica. Llevaba camisa-pijama que me acababa de comprar en Top Shop (aqui), vaqueros y bailarinas. Muchos besos, nos vemos!!

Paris would not be the same without the Eiffel Tower poking up on every corner. I don’t know what it is about the Tower but it makes Paris all the more special. Whenever we go to fashion shows at Palais de Tokyo we always stop over at Trocadero to see it. On this ocassion we also took some photos and I have to say that I love them. We’d been to see Guy Laroche’s show, which I had been really looking forward to seeing and as you will see from P. Soury’s photos below it didn’t disappoint. I went for a metallic theme with a slip-on dress and a leather jacket. I threw on some cowboy inspired ankle boots and layered up with a t-shirt because I thought it would be cold but it turned out to be very hot (one doesn’t always get things right hehe). Hope that you like my outfit and the photos from the show. All my love! 

Hay que reconocer que Paris no sería lo mismo sin ese perfil que asoma desde todas las esquinas de la cuidad, verdad? No sé qué tendrá la Torre Eiffel pero está claro que hace que Paris sea aun mucho más especial. Cuando vamos a desfiles en el Palais de Tokyo siempre aprovechamos para acercarnos al Trocadero para hacerle una visita, y esta vez, además, aprovechamos para sacar estas  fotos que, por cierto, me encantan. Era el día de Guy Laroche, un desfile que tenía muchísimas ganas de ver y que, como veréis abajo en las fotos que saco P. Soury, no decepcionó. Yo llevaba un look “metálico” con mucho plata, tanto en el vestido Slip como en la cazadora de piel. Me animé con botines de aires cow boy y camiseta debajo, porque creí que iba a hacer fresquito aunque finalmente hacía calorazo! (no siempre se acierta, jjj). I have been wanting to show you this outfit that I wore during Paris fashion week to the Alexis Mabille show and the Sandro showroom (what a privilege to see what next summer has in store!) for a while now. I love going for the whole pyjama look, I am a big fan of making slip dresses work as part of an outfit as well as lace tops. You can’t even begin to imagine how comfortable I was riding my bike around, but I imagine that these kind of pieces are not to everyone’s taste. It was quite clear on my instagram that a small minority of people were not really into this kind of look. That aside, I hope you enjoy this new post. The photos were taken in the gardens of Palais Royal – they’re so cool. You’ll also find the photos taken by P. Soury at Alex Mabille’s SS17 show. The designer’s catwalk was characterised by the use of denim, oversized frills, plenty of volume, primary colours and all in slippers! Lots of love. 

Ya tenía yo ganas de postear este look que llevé durante la semana de la moda de Paris para el desfile de Alexis Mabille y para visitar el showroom de Sandro (por cierto, un lujo poder ver las maravillas que nos deparan para el verano que viene!). Qué queréis que os diga, a mi me encanta esto de ir en pijama, me gusta mucho la idea de adaptar prendas como los vestidos slip, los tops lenceros o los pijamas para el día a día, y ni os cuento lo cómoda que iba yo en bici de un lado para otro por Paris, pero imagino que hay para todos los gustos. En instagram pude ver que, aunque la mayoría opina como yo, hay gente que no es muy fan de esta tendencia. Aqui os dejo con este nuevo post con fotos que sacamos en los jardines del Palais Royal y que me parecen especialmente chulas, y también con las fotos que P. Soury sacó durante el desfile de Alexis Mabille SS17 marcado por el uso del denim, de los volantes oversize, los volúmenes y los colores primarios, y todo ello en zapatillas!. Mil besos!!

I’ve been living in a world filled with suitcases because we’re off for a few weeks and I’ve somehow managed to turn my house upside down. It currently looks like a war zone haha. We are traveling quite early tomorrow and I have absolutely no idea when I will finish packing but I intend on carrying on as soon as I publish this post *_* In the meantime, I’ll like to tell you about this outfit consisting of basic pieces with a twist. The À Bicyclette hoodie (HERE), features some special detailing, mainly the sequined MON AMOUR writing and the heart made out of towel-like material. The high waisted jeans are also different in that the fit quite losely. I finished off with a pair of gold shoes and what has become my favourite bomber jacket. It’s not only gorgeous but also super warm and incredibly lightweight – perfect for the cold weather. Lots of love! 

Llevo todo el día “inmersa” en un mar de maletas porque nos vamos dos o tres semanas y he de reconocer que monto un lio tremendo en mi casa, parece que ha habido mínimo una guerra! jajaj. Salimos mañana muy pronto y no sé yo como voy a terminar, pero bueno, espero ponerme las pilas justo cuando cuelgue este post *_* Mientras os cuento un poquito sobre este look formado por básicos no tan básicos, y digo eso porque la sudadera de À Bicyclette (AQUI) tiene un toque especial con el MON AMOUR de lentejuelas y el corazón en toalla, y los vaqueros reestructurados de talle alto. Añadí zapatos dorados y esta bomber que ya es mi favorita, además de parecerme preciosa es ligera y muy calentita, un chollo para los días mas fríos. Mil besos!
